featuring March Madness Marching Band, Mecca Dance, Michael Jackson dances and songs, Artistry in Motion, Broadway Bound, and more
8:30pm- Thriller and Halloween parade on Main Street

The Thriller parade will start at 8:30 pm outside of the Kentucky Theatre, Downtown Arts Center, Government Center and TRUST lounge and will travel down Main Street to the Cheapside Pavilion.
This event is presented by Mecca Live Studio & Gallery, Lexington Parks and Recreation and WRFL. Special thanks to Buster's Backroom and Billiards for providing rehearsal space throughout October.

2012 THRILLER & HALLOWEEN PARADE
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28, 6:00 – 11:00 PM (RAIN DATE: MONDAY, OCTOBER 29)
PRESHOW – CENTREPOINTE (6:00 – 8:00 PM)
We will start things off at 6:00 pm with an expanded preshow and Halloween festivities at CentrePointe with some thrilling acts by the Pickled Brothers Circus and their sideshow Cabinet of Curiosities
At 6:15 we will have a kid’s only Thriller dance led by a little Michael Jackson. Any kids that know the dance and would like to participate are welcome to join in.
At 6:30 there will be a magic show by the mad scientist Dr. Fiske.
The Variety Show will be from 7:00 – 8:00 pm and will include performances by:
FOOD! There will be food trucks present to grab some dinner, warm drinks and cozy fall treats.
THRILLER PERFORMANCE & PARADE (8:30 – 10:00 PM)
Main Street will close at 7:45 pm.
Parade will start at the KY Theatre at 8:30 pm and end at Mill Street. We ask that all audience members stay out of the street and on the curb at all times during the parade.
There will be four completely separate sets of Michael, Ola and zombies starting simultaneously at the KY Theatre, MLK, the Downtown Arts Center and Trust Lounge.
The Thriller zombie dancers will be followed once again this year by a small parade of community participants demonstrating their Halloween spirit and creativity.
New this year:
Designated media and photography pit. All members of the media wishing to cover the Thriller & Halloween parade will be required to do so from a designated, cordoned off space in front of the KY Theatre. No one other than the dancers and event personnel will be allowed in the street during the performance and parade. Credentials are required.
An accessible seating area will cordoned off at the KY Theatre for audience members in wheelchairs and is first-come, first-served.
AFTERPARTY - 5/3 PAVILLION (10:00 – 11:00 PM)
Ford Theatre Reunion will close out the night with a special performance at the end of the parade route.
Food trucks for drinks, snacks and beer will still be on hand for more festive fun!
